Paul Smith Spring/Summer 2018
Paul Smith’s new Spring/Summer took inspiration from 70s Japanese counter culture where it touch on surfing and its music sub-cultures. The collection has blue as its dominant colour followed by a range of shades from light to dark with highlight of pink and yellow. Expect a cotton nylon shirt jacket; utilitarian military clothing and fatigue pant shape. The 2018 Spring/Summer collection will be available online from February.

Luxury fashion house Emilio Pucci has recently unveiled its pre-fall 2018 collection that features embroidered mini-dress, fluid silhouettes and playing with multiple colours, prints, patterns and proportions. The revolutionary designer has announced that she will be leaving her position in French fashion house, Celine. The designer’s latest collection, Autumn/Winter 2019, will be exhibited in Paris next year.

Versace’s Spring/Summer 2018 Campaign
After a jaw-dropping fashion show at this year’s Milan Fashion Week featuring the original supermodels, Versace has just released its star-studded Spring/Summer 2018 ad campaign. The new campaign features the iconic Versace’s designs ranging from wild animalier print, Barocco print, Vogue print looks and butterfly beachwear, among others. Shot by iconic fashion photographer, Steven Meisel, the ad campaign also fronts gorgeous models like Gisele Bundchen, Naomi Campbell, Christy Turlington and Kaia Gerber, among other names.

Earlier this week, Indonesian-born designer Harry Halim opened his first Harry Halim Paris flagship store in Jakarta. Following the successful collaborations with The Walt Disney, Christian Louboutin once again launched another movie-themed shoe to commemorate Star Wars: The Last Jedi. The ‘Space Shoe’ boasts a breathtaking 6’’ heel inspired by the famous Ballerina Ultima, plus four exclusive custom shoe styles. French fashion house Mugler has appointed a new artistic director for its label. Casey Cadwallader will join the fashion house and replaced David Koma, who has worked for four years before. Meanwhile, Cadwallader was previously handling womenswear at Loewe, Narciso Rodriguez and Acne Studio.
