If you’re an architecture enthusiast, you’re bound to have heard of the name “Andra Matin”. Akin to Gerrit Rietveld’s agenda for the Rietveld Schröderhuis, Andra Matin continues to break the barriers between the internal and external environments. In order to achieve such harmony, the Indonesian architect skilfully manipulates space and creates a sense of openness even inside the building, as he did in his Secret Garden Village design in Tabanan, Bali.

RAW Architecture

Located on the street of Villa Meruya, The Guild is a hidden architectural gem in Jakarta that has a lot to boast of. Although it seems mysterious from beyond its concrete walls, the building is painstakingly stunning that even the round windows will draw in people on their own. In addition to The Guild, Realrich Sjarief's RAW Architecture was also responsible for designing other noteworthy sites such as Jakarta’s own Galeri Nasional.
