No wonder being a YouTuber content creator is an in-demand job at the moment. Seeing this opportunity, many Indonesian celebrities are also trying their hands at YouTube. Whether they’re promoting their films or just casually sharing their daily lives, here are our top-five picks of Indonesian YouTube sensations.

Raffi Ahmad and Nagita Slavina

Being one of the most famous celebrity couples in Indonesia, presenter Raffi Ahmad and his wife, Nagita Slavina have taken YouTube by storm. Their channel, named RANS Entertainment, sees constantly uploaded videos with light and fun content about their daily lives with their 4-year-old son, Rafathar. Their channel has 4.5 million subscribers already.

Baim-Paula

Parents-to-be Baim Wong and Paula Verhoeven are among the newest celebrities to join YouTube. Fun content like prank videos have led 2.4 million subscribers to BaPau’s YouTube channel. Most of the videos are watched by 2 or 3 million viewers.

Boy William

Indonesian VJ and actor Boy William also has another profession on his resume: he is also a YouTube content creator and he has his own trademark with hashtag #NebengBoy that has entertained 925,000 subscribers. The 27-year-old tends to invite guests that have ranged from President Jokowi to TV anchor Najwa Shihab to have a chat with him in his car. Most of his videos have earned more than a million views.

Deddy Corbuzier

Mentalist and TV presenter Deddy Corbuzier has a different path for his YouTube content. The Jakarta-born Hitam Putih presenter is known to share about his thoughts on—and criticism of—Indonesian netizens, the government, viral topics, or the entertainment industry. Deddy’s YouTube channel already has 3.2 million subscribers.

Anji Drive

Erdian Aji, or Anji, used to be known as the lead singer of band DRIVE. But since his departure from the band in 2011, Anji has carved out a solo career, and now he is one the Indonesian celebrities who has morphed into a YouTuber. Anji’s channel, called dunia MANJI, currently has 978,000 subscribers. Most of his videos are about the Indonesian music industry, and he invites many Indonesian musicians to have a chat with him.
