Margot Robbie, star of The Legend of Tarzan and also known for her role in Suicide Squad, has been named Richard Mille brand ambassador alongside Benjamin Millepied and Rafael Nadal. Mostly joined by sportsmen and sportswomen, she is just the second actress to join the label’s family with the first one being Michelle Yeoh.
“I am really excited to join the Richard Mille family. I have always admired the brand’s artistry and innovation,” Robbie said.
This partnership between Margot Robbie and Richard Mille will give birth to several design collections that convey creative energy and modern femininity, embodied by the actress and the brand’s quality horology.
“The watch we are working on embodies Richard Mille’s vision of horology; it’s beautiful, unique and modern. I can’t wait for everyone to see it.”
What’s more, the proceeds from the collection will go to Youngcare, a foundation committed to helping young Australians with high-care needs live their lives with choice, independence and dignity. Robbie herself is an Australian born in Dalby, Queensland, and raised on the Gold Coast.
Robbie can be seen next in Simon Curtis’ Goodbye Christopher Robin alongside Domhnall Gleeson.
She recently wrapped up production on Craig Gillespie’s I, Tonya in which she stars as Tonya Harding, and served as a producer under her production company, LuckyChap Entertainment. Robbie will soon begin production on Josie Rourke’s Mary Queen of Scots in which she will star as Queen Elizabeth 1 opposite Saoirse Ronan.
