Three Buns at Senopati is hosting a special screening tribute to Hollywood legendary director Tim Burton. Held on October 27 & 28, the tribute event will screen Beetlejuice, Sweeney Todd, Corpse Bride and Edward Scissorhands.

For a unique dinner experience head over to The Gunawarman on October 27th where a theatrical Halloween Costume Dinner and special cocktails await. Dress up as your favourite fairy tale characters and dance the night away at The Downtown entertainment with DJ Cream, Jeremy Jay & Gerry Blaze.

Loewy Jakarta is throwing a special halloween party "The Loewy Manor" on October 27th along with special DJ set by Anton Wirjono.

Bauhaus is inviting music lovers and costume enthusiast to dress up as zombies for "Haus of Living Dead" on October 27th.

For club lovers, don't miss out Dragonfly annual Halloween party "Black Magic" which will take place on October 27th

The Safehouse Jakarta once again collaborates with Video Star for another "Time After Time After Time" on October 28th. Prepare to dance the night away to bublegum songs with a touch of horror.

The Pallas is hosting a Game of Thrones Halloween party "The King's Landing" on October 28th. Guests are encouraged to dress up according to the hit's show characters while Austrian DJs MÖWE will entertain the crowd.

Meanwhile, PROOF at Senayan Golf Club is hosting "IT" party based on Stephen King's beloved novel and movie. On October 28th, guests are invited to showed up in their scariest costumes to win a special door prize!

Sheraton Hotel Gandaria City is hosting a halloween concert "Mac Abbe Et Le Zombie Orchestra" with Mazo band on October 28th. Expect a mix of music, theater and skenagraphy packed in a cabaret-like performance. 

Elsewhere,  J Sparrow Jakarta is collaborating with Jose Cuervo "Boozin" on October 28th. The team is offering three special halloween cocktails on that night!

On October 28th, Queenshead Jakarta is also hosting a halloween theme night "Patent Nonsense" where special cocktails and array of DJs will entertain your night. 

Pao Pao teamed up with Batavia Sunday and host "Hungry Ghost Disco" costume party on October 29th.

If you missed Stephen King's 90s classic IT then pop over to Hause Rooftop on October 30th to re-watch it. Time: 7-9pm.

On October 6, Jiexpo Kemayoran is housing Synchronize Festival, a three-day music fiesta featuring top-ranked bands like Slank, Efek Rumah Kaca, Payung Teduh, The Sigit, Pee Wee Gaskins, Seringai, Barasuara, and Danilla. Organiser Dyandra Promosindo is setting the tickets at Rp 155,000 and Rp 385,000.

The Awarding Night for Nusantara Film Festival is being held at Teater Jakarta, Taman Ismail Marzuki Art Centre. Some 25 documentary films revolving around village life, maritime affairs, humanitarian issues, youth issues and national resilience are nominated for the film festival as a tribute to the Indonesian Armed Forces Day on October 5.


A scion of K-Pop group Big Bang, Taeyang, is set to perform at JIExpo Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, on one of the laps of his “White Night World Tour”. With a kick-off in Chba, Japan, the world tour will also visit Manila, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Macau, Singapore and Taipei.

“Nasyah, Noktah dan Naskah”, a retrospective exhibition and a book-launching ceremony to highlight the works of Nasjah Djamin, will colour Hall B of Galeri Nasional, the National Gallery in Jakarta. The exhibition will run for two weeks—every day except Mondays, from 9am-6pm.

The Indonesia Dance Community is staging the four-day Batavia International Dance Festival at the metropolis’s favourite nightspots. Latin dancers Fernando Gracia and Sol Cerquides, and Manuel Favilla and Natalja Maidiuk, will highlight the dance festival, which will draw participants from Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines.  

The internationally acclaimed Tango in Paradise returns with an Indonesia-Argentina cultural blend featuring Batik and Prada. The four-evening episode will bring together tango maestros Pablo Giorgini y Noelia Coletti, world tango champion Stefano di Filippo y Dasha Chesnokova, and Moscow’s Solo Tango Orquesta. Venue: Hotel Kumala Pantai, Padma Bali Resort.
